Neighborhood Assistance Programs

MINI GRANT PROGRAM - Established Columbia Council of Neighborhood (CCN) organizations or Coordinating Community Councils may apply for up to $10,000. Application requests up to $1,000, requires no match. From $1,001 to $10,000, applications will require a 1:1 match (50% cash and 50% in-kind). COMMUNITY LIAISONS - Staff is provided to promote communication and mutual understanding between neighborhood organizations and the City of Columbia. Special emphasis is placed upon neighborhoods without existing or recently organized organizations. The Community Liaisons can provide assistance determining what neighborhood you may reside in and the schedule of that organization's meetings. Contact Community Development at 803.545.3373 and ask to speak to your Liaison:  Council District I ~ Charmaine Clark, Council District II ~ Shirley Dilbert, Council District III ~ Gerry Lynn Hall, Council District IV ~ Jeff Rainwater.
