Drew Wellness Center Recognizes National Heart Month with "Wellness Wednesday for Women"
On Wednesday, February 29 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center will partner with KISS 103.1 to host "Wellness Wednesday for Women" in honor of National Heart Month. This event is FREE to the public and will feature a Zumba fitness class from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., a heart health treat (snack), heart health information and screenings, and giveaways. KISS will broadcast live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center at 803.545.3200.

Where do I go to fill out a City employment application?
Apply at Human Resources ? Employment Office, 1225 Lady Street(corner of Lady and Sumter) Columbia From 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday. A resume may be submitted with a fully completed application. Click here for more information.

How can I obtain a business license?pet license?
City ordinance requires all City residents to have their pets licensed annually. To obtain a license, owners must provide proof of vaccination as required by state law. License fees are reduced for pets which have been spayed or neutered. (Tel.: 776-PETS)

Where can I pay my parking tickets?
Mail: Parking tickets are issued with a convenient, easy-to-pay, return envelope. If you do not have the designated parking ticket return envelope, please mail your payment to City of Columbia Parking, Post Office Box 7997, Columbia, South Carolina 29202-7997.

"How do I report a claim or a after hours sewer back up or water line break?" 

If you have a potential claim against the City of Columbia, please call Companion Property & Casualty at (803) 735-0672 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and weekends, and an adjustor will take your information. For sewer backups between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, or on holidays and weekends, please call the Wastewater Maintenance Division at 545-3910. For water line breaks between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, or on holidays or weekends, please call the Water Division at 545-3900.  You will still need to report the incident to Companion Property & Casualty the next business day after 8:00 a.m.  *Companion Third Party Administrators, LLC*
