Are you looking for real fulfillment?   Do you enjoy a challenge and have the desire to make a difference in the lives of people in your community?    The Columbia Fire Department is looking for volunteers to join area volunteer fire stations all around Richland County.

   The extensive training you receive is nationally recognized, and continually reviewed to ensure that you have the most up-to-date skills and life-saving techniques.    The knowledge and experience you gain will stay with you for the rest of your life.    The training is provided at various locations including the SC Fire Academy on Monticello Road in Columbia.

 

 

 

 

  Unfortunately, there are only certain areas in Richland County where we have Volunteer firefighters.  Below is a list of the Stations and addresses that have volunteers firefighters.  Normally, Volunteers meet every Monday at 7 PM at the station.  Also, there is a career firefighter at the station to help get in contact with the Volunteer personnel.
