ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN III (CUSTOMER CARE CENTER)

FIREFIGHTER (PROBATIONARY)
This is skilled fire fighting work in combating, extinguishing and preventing fires to protect life and property. Incumbents are required to learn and participate in the operation of apparatus and performance of hazardous tasks under emergency conditions which may require strenuous exertion under such conditions as fire, heat, smoke and cramped surrounds. Although fire fighting and emergency rescue work are the most responsible and difficult areas of activity, a major portion of time is spent performing drills and studying methods, techniques and organization, and in routine duties in the care and maintenance of fire department property and equipment. Work also involves routine custodial maintenance of fire department equipment, apparatus, buildings and quarters.Note: Those Firefighter applicants who are not Certified Firefighters and/or who do not have previous firefighting experience may be considered as a FIREFIGHTER RECRUIT.

WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOREMAN (WASTEWATER MAINTENANCE)
The purpose of this position is to lead, guide, instruct, mentor, and perform in the maintenance of the wastewater collection system by cleaning, inspecting, installing, repairing, and replacing pipes and appurtenances associated with standard operational and maintenance practices of a wastewater collection system. Incumbent will be responsible for operating and transporting heavy equipment effectively and safely, to include backhoes, track-hoes, skid-steer loaders, trenchers, CCTV cameras, I & I investigations, mechanical cleaning equipment, high pressure cleaning equipment, etc., in the repair, rehabilitation or installation of sewer lines, manholes, vortexes or other appurtenances pertaining to the wastewater collection system and ensuring all work reporting has been done, followed up on, and completed in accordance with the Wastewater Maintenance Division policies and procedures.
WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM OPERATOR (WASTEWATER MAINTENANCE)
The purpose of this position is to maintain the wastewater collection system by cleaning, inspecting, installing, repairing, and replacing pipes and appurtenances associated with standard operational and maintenance practices of a wastewater collection system. The purpose of this position is to perform semi-skilled work to assist technicians in the inspection, maintenance and repair of the City wastewater treatment plant and related equipment, and to perform related work as required.
WASTEWATER PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
The purpose of this position is to perform skilled work in the inspection, maintenance and repair of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and/or sanitary sewer lift stations, and related equipment and facilities, and to perform other skilled and semi-skilled work as required.
WASTEWATER PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II
The purpose of this position is to perform journeyman level work in the inspection, maintenance and repair of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and/or sanitary sewer lift stations and related equipment and facilities, and to perform other skilled and semi-skilled work as required.
WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (METRO WASTEWATER PLANT)
The purpose of this position is to perform skilled technical and manual work in the daily operation of an assigned water treatment plant; to supervise operators when assigned as lead operator; and to perform related technical and administrative work as required.
WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR (METRO WASTEWATER PLANT)
The purpose of this position is to perform skilled technical and manual work in the daily operation of City's wastewater treatment plant; to prepare and maintain required records and reports, and to perform related work as required.
WASTEWATER PLANT SCADA TECHNICIAN (METRO WASTEWATER PLANT)
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and responsibility for monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and repair of the City’s wastewater plant process instrumentation, controls, field instruments and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system; and to perform other skilled and semi-skilled work as required.
WATER FIELD TECHNICIAN (ENGINEERING)
The purpose of this position is to perform technical engineering work to support the design, development and implementation of City water distribution system projects, and to perform related work as required.
WATER METER SERVICER II (WATER DISTRIBUTION & MAINTENANCE)
The purpose of this position is to install, test, maintain and repair water meters below ground level, and to perform related technical work as required..

WELLNESS CENTER LEADER (PART-TIME) (DREW WELLNESS CENTER)
The purpose of this position is to monitor participants in the wellness center, ensure a safe exercising environment and assist in customer service relations in the Wellness Center. This includes, but is not limited to coordinating and implementing fitness related programs and activities, responding to member’s needs, providing membership information to current and potential patrons, provide members with instruction for exercise programs and equipment use as well as the supervision of member activity and conduct while in the facility; and to perform related work as required.
