National League of Cities (NLC)

Prescription Discount Card

The City of Columbia and the National League of Cities (NLC) have come together to offer individuals the NLC Prescription Discount Card. This is a FREE program offered to help citizens save money on the high cost of prescription medications.

If a prescription is not covered by insurance, then the NLC Prescription Discount Card may be used. This program is administered through CVS Caremark and the National League of Cities.

According to the National League of Cities, “The NLC Prescription Discount Card program can save residents an average of 23% off the full retail cost of prescription medication.”
