City of Columbia Issues Request For Voluntary Water Conservation To Water Customers
The City of Columbia is currently experiencing a higher than normal demand for water. In hopes to avoid any need to enact water restrictions, the City is requesting that its water customers voluntarily minimize non-essential use, particularly during afternoon and evening peak demand periods. Examples of non-essential use include such activities as lawn irrigation, car washing, filling swimming pools or spas, and using a hose to clean off driveways and sidewalks.
