City to host Commercial Retention & Redevelopment Orientation Sessions
Feb 07, 2019

The City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities will host two public orientation sessions to discuss the Commercial Retention & Redevelopment (CRR) program. Participants will receive information on CRR and how to participate in the program.

The two public orientation sessions will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Drew Wellness Center, 2101 Walker Solomon Way. The first session will begin at 12 p.m. and the second session will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The OBO’s CRR program combines our successful Facade Improvement and Commercial Loan programs as redevelopment and commercial retention tools. The City will use this program to revitalize commercial portions of Harden Street, North Millwood/Millwood Avenue, Taylor Street, and Gervais Street. Some of these areas are also located in the Neighborhood Revitalization Service Area and the King-Lyon Redevelopment Area.
