The revised re-opening plan for the City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department has been revised. We are postponing phase 4-5 of the re-opening plan due the COVID-19 disease activity report provided by DHEC. The state’s disease activity is currently categorized as “High” in all 46 counties.

                                                              City’s Teen Program to End with Free Pool Party 

The Columbia Parks & Recreation Department will host a free pool party at Greenview Pool to close out the department’s Prime Time in the Parks summer teen program on Friday, August 2.

The free teen program provides a fun and safe environment for youth ages 13-17 years old. 

Teens can attend the party, which is held from 7 to 10 p.m. at Greenview Pool located at Greenview Park, 6700 David St.

 The Columbia Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of programs for children ages 5-17 that are designed to be meaningful and fun, at little to no cost. These programs are held at various times throughout the year and present opportunities for youth to learn something new, serve their communities, refine their skills or network with their peers.
