9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Although our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., heavy machinery and trucks are operating in the early and late parts of the day. Due to traffic and safety, we ask that you visit us between 9 and 4.)
Accepting computers, monitors, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, phones, cameras, holiday lights, stereo equipment and anything that plugs in.
The City does NOT accept bulbs. Compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs are easily recycled as many hardware stores will accept them for recycling.
All non-leaking batteries are accepted at City of Columbia Public Works, located at 2910 Colonial Drive.
