Starting in December, 2012, the City held a series of trainings and public meetings to inform the development of a new Stormwater BMP Manual PDF document. Engineers attending these meetings also qualified for Personal Development Hours.

Meetings to Update Stormwater Ordinance

From November 29 to December 13, 2011, the Stormwater Section held a series of discussions and public input sessions to revise the City's Stormwater Ordinances (Chapters 21 and 23 of the City's Code of Ordinances). The final version of Chapter 21 - Stormwater Management and Sedimentation Control completed its second reading and was adopted by City Council on December 20, 2011.


Eau Claire Print Building Listening Session

On Monday, September 13, 2010 from 5:30-7:30pm, the City of Columbia held an informal listening session for interested citizens to share views and concerns related to the development of the Stormwater Management Plan, revisions to the Stormwater Quantity and Quality Ordinance, and overall requirements of the MS4 Permit.
